Rave Scholarship 2026 in Germany

The Rave Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity for cultural practitioners to study management of cultural heritage, including museums and exhibition sites, in Germany. It invites participants from countries that are permanent residents of DAC-listed nations and supports work with cultural heritage, collections, or archives via host institutions. The program includes financial support for living costs, travel, visa, health insurance and language study, for a duration of 3-6 months in Germany with an optional 2-12 week reciprocal stay in another country.

Monthly stipend, family allowances, travel and visa costs covered, health insurance, language course allowance, and local transport support.

Open to curators, restorers, mediators, and culture managers who are permanent residents of countries on the DAC list, who have completed higher education or vocational training, and who have good knowledge of English.

Applications must be submitted through an online form. Applicants provide personal, host institution details, work experience, studies, additional skills, and a brief report on the home country’s art scene.
