PhD Researcher Positions in Agricultural and Environmental Ethics, Belgium

KU Leuven is offering two PhD positions within the BIOTA research project, providing an opportunity to contribute to research in environmental and agricultural ethics. The positions are fully funded 4-year doctoral research scholarships with salary-based PhD appointments, with enrollment in KU Leuven’s doctoral programme and opportunities to attend conferences and international research visits.

Enrollment in KU Leuven’s doctoral programme, office space and research facilities, opportunities to attend international conferences, funding for an international research visit, participation in workshops and seminars, and membership in the RIPPLE research unit.

Applicants must hold (or be close to completing) a Master’s degree in Philosophy with a strong academic record, demonstrate excellent English proficiency, and have an interest in normative environmental, agricultural, or plant ethics. Applicants should meet the institute's doctoral admission requirements and be prepared to work both independently and as part of a team.
