MSc in Olympic Studies

The MSc in Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Organization and Management of Olympic Events is a Master’s degree programme offered by the University of Peloponnese in partnership with the International Olympic Academy. It is designed for graduates and professionals seeking advanced understanding of Olympic philosophy, education, and sport management, with on-site lectures in Ancient Olympia and Sparta, Greece, and a remote master’s thesis component. Scholarships for selected candidates are available through National Olympic Committees via IOC Olympic Solidarity.

Advanced knowledge in Olympic philosophy and sport management, practical experience in organizing Olympic events, professional development in related skills, and global networking opportunities; scholarships may cover tuition and board.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized higher education institution and demonstrate relevant professional experience or involvement in Olympic activities; proficiency in English is required.
