African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC) 2026–2027

The African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC) is a fully funded continental youth leadership programme for 2026–2027. It recruits and deploys young African professionals as volunteers across AU Member States for 12 months to gain hands-on experience in policy, development, and leadership, with a range of supports and entitlements provided.

Full pre-deployment training, economy return ticket to the duty station, monthly living stipend, health insurance, AU Service Passport, separation allowance, access to training and mentorship opportunities, and networking with young leaders across Africa.

Applicants must be citizens of AU Member States, aged 18–35, with at least a post-secondary qualification, available for 12 months of full-time service, and proficient in at least one AU working language.
