CUNY x MTA Internship Program 2025

The CUNY x MTA Internship Program offers paid internship placements across MTA offices and departments for CUNY students. Participants gain hands-on experience in fields such as technology, engineering, architecture, urban planning, business, and law, with part-time work throughout the academic year. Internships run from September 2025 to June 2026 and pay an hourly wage of $22.

Paid work experience across multiple departments, exposure to real-world public service projects, and opportunities for professional growth.

Applicants must be matriculated students at any CUNY institution, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher, and must be available to work from September 2025 to June 2026. Open to the first-time applicants to the CUNY x MTA Internship Program.
