International Travel Scheme (ITS) 2025 – Funding for Indian Researchers to Attend Global Scientific Events

The International Travel Scheme (ITS) provides financial assistance to Indian researchers invited to present work at international scientific events, with funding for travel-related expenses and limited coverage of registration fees for eligible young scientists. It supports researchers to engage with the global scientific community and strengthen international collaboration through attendance at conferences, workshops, short-term training programmes, and schools abroad.

Travel reimbursement, visa fees, and partial registration fee reimbursement up to a specified limit.

Indian researchers engaged in R&D at a recognized Indian institution, with an invitation to present a paper or participate in the event.

Submit required documents including an endorsement letter, invitation to present the paper, abstract, and applicant biodata; applications reviewed within the specified pre-event window.
