Health Fellowship for Africans

The African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET) and partners offer a one-year, full-time health fellowship focused on One Health skills. The program combines short courses, a field placement, and close mentorship to train field epidemiology professionals. It is targeted at graduates with a Master’s degree from field epidemiology–training programs in Africa, with a medical or veterinary background.

Applicants should have graduated with a Master’s degree from the Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training programs in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania not more than 5 years ago. They should have a background in medical or veterinary training.

Applications must be made through the Program Director of the respective FELTPs, including a CV, copies of certificates and transcripts, and ministry/agency commitment.
