Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Toronto (U of T) 2026-2027

Fully funded graduate-level scholarship program at the University of Toronto for Mastercard Foundation Scholars. It supports selected applicants from Sub-Saharan Africa pursuing one of several listed graduate programs, covering the duration of their studies and related costs. Upon completion, scholars are expected to return home to contribute to health-related development in their countries.

Travel to Canada, tuition coverage, housing and meal stipend, health insurance, learning materials, and other study-related expenses.

Citizenship and residence in Sub-Saharan Africa; graduating or graduated from a partner institution; under 35; demonstrated academic excellence and leadership; admissible to one of the listed graduate programs; committed to returning home after graduation.
