Girls Go STEM Student Challenge 2026

The Girls Go STEM Student Challenge 2026 invites girls aged 14–19 to develop innovative engineering ideas addressing space debris. Teams of 2–4 students redesign a spacecraft component to minimize debris in orbit and prepare a project submission with designs, explanations, and a pitch video. Finalists will present at the Girls Go STEM annual event and have opportunities for mentoring, hands-on workshops, and showcasing their ideas at the EIT Women and Girls in STEM Forum in Prague.

Finalists will present on stage at the Girls Go STEM annual event, attend hands-on STEM workshops, receive mentoring from experts, and build international connections; their project will be showcased during the EIT Women and Girls in STEM Forum in Prague.

Girls aged 14–19, teams of 2–4 girls, registered under one country, alumnae of the Girls Go STEM programme, and completion of specified Girls Go STEM courses.
