10,000 Black Interns Programme 2026

Applications are open for the 10,000 Black Interns Programme 2026. The programme offers paid internship opportunities across more than 40 sectors in the UK, aiming to increase representation and create pathways to permanent roles for outstanding candidates. Participants gain professional experience, networking opportunities, and career development support through placements in global firms, leading organisations, and high-growth enterprises.

Open to candidates of Black African, Black Caribbean, Black British, or mixed Black heritage who are over 18 and either studying at a UK university (undergraduate or postgraduate), recently graduated from a UK university (from 2022 onwards), or on a gap year with a confirmed place at a UK university; must have the legal right to work full-time in the UK during Summer 2026.

Submit an application selecting up to three areas of interest and provide up to 250 words explaining interest in each area; applications are reviewed by participating organisations.
