Africa CDC Youth Digital Health Champions (YDH-C) Program 2025

The Africa CDC Youth Digital Health Champions (YDH-C) Program is a capacity-building initiative by the Youth in Digital Health Network (YiDHN) to identify and connect young leaders across Africa who are actively shaping the digital health landscape. It offers opportunities for visibility, participation in high-level events, peer networking, and capacity-building activities, with potential connections to funding pathways and accelerator programs. The program aims to strengthen digital health leadership and advocacy among African youth and to inform policy and innovation ecosystems.

Visibility and recognition through profiles and stories; participation in webinars, policy dialogues, and forums; potential participation in the Africa HealthTech Summit; peer networking across Africa; access to capacity-building sessions and policy engagements; possible access to seed funding and mentorship through partnerships and accelerator programs.

Applicants must be 18-35 years old, citizens of an African Union member state (Africans in the diaspora can apply), and proficient in at least one of English, French, Arabic, or Portuguese with involvement in digital health.

Submit a completed application form, CV/resume, and one letter of recommendation by September 14, 2025.
