Aktieselskabet Freia Chocolade Fabriks Medisinske Fond awards funds to increase knowledge about prevention and treatment of nutrition-related diseases. The fund supports research and further education aimed at understanding causes of internal medicine diseases and improving prevention and treatment. It gives particular priority to studies of diet, food intake and the role of nutrients for health and disease. Calls are announced for allocation every other year.
