IITA Graduate Fellowship for Agricultural Research

The IITA Graduate Fellowship for Agricultural Research places graduate students with IITA scientists at stations across Africa to conduct Master's or PhD research in tropical agriculture, food science, and natural resource management. Fellows undertake research projects, receive supervision from IITA staff, and are hosted at IITA stations for a period typically ranging from 6 to 24 months. The programme accepts research proposals across disciplines and is aimed at African graduate students.

Monthly stipend; accommodation support; research materials; supervision and research hosting at IITA stations across Africa for 6–24 months.

African graduate students pursuing a Master's or PhD may apply. The programme accepts research proposals across all academic disciplines, including humanities, sciences, engineering, agriculture, and medicine.
