Kellogg Institute Visiting Fellowships 2027

The Kellogg Institute Visiting Fellowships are fully funded fellowships for doctoral and postdoctoral scholars to pursue studies at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies in the USA. Fellows engage with the scholarly community at Notre Dame, contribute to the peer‑reviewed working paper series, and conduct research on topics related to democracy and human development. Visiting fellows may be hosted for an academic year or shorter terms (fall or spring semesters), with occasional two-year postdoctoral fellowships offered in exceptional cases.

Stipend, travel expenses, medical insurance, partial housing subsidy, access to the Kellogg Institute scholarly community and activities.

The program targets doctoral and postdoctoral scholars, senior scholars, and accomplished policymakers, journalists, and practitioners with exceptional scholarly or professional credentials. Applicants may come from any country and must meet English proficiency requirements.
