Transfyr AI Fellowship 2026

The Transfyr AI Fellowship 2026 is a one-year, full-time paid research fellowship focused on multimodal AI for scientific execution. Fellows lead focused projects using real data and build prototypes while receiving mentorship and access to Transfyr datasets and technical resources. The program is based in Boston/Cambridge (USA) with remote participation allowed only by exception and is expected to start around September 2026. Selected fellows are paid a salary and receive compute resources, benefits, and visa support where applicable.

$125,000 annual compensation; benefits; access to compute, GPUs, datasets, and project support; direct mentorship from founders and technical team; visa support; publication support (subject to confidentiality and IP review).

Current graduate students (may take leave), recent PhDs, and postdoctoral researchers in fields such as machine learning, computer science, computational biology, robotics, HCI, statistics, or adjacent fields who can commit full-time for 12 months and be based in Boston/Cambridge (remote by exception).
