University of Rwanda Mastercard Scholarship 2027

The University of Rwanda Mastercard Scholarship 2027 is a fully funded scholarship for academically talented African students to pursue bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes at the University of Rwanda. The program provides comprehensive financial support and leadership development to scholars, including tuition, accommodation, living allowances, mentoring, and internships. It is part of a multi-year partnership between the University of Rwanda and the Mastercard Foundation to develop leaders committed to community impact. The scholarship supports selected eligible undergraduate and master’s programmes at the University of Rwanda.

Academically talented African students who have applied for admission to an eligible undergraduate or master’s program at the University of Rwanda, are newly admitted (have not yet started studies), demonstrate financial need or social/economic barriers, and show leadership potential.

Apply for admission to an eligible University of Rwanda program, then complete the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program online application portal and upload required documents; shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews or assessments.
