Open Call for Photographers: Funded Solo Exhibition at Copenhagen Photo Festival 2027

The Copenhagen Photo Festival invites visual artists and photographers worldwide to submit projects for a funded solo exhibition at the festival in Copenhagen. Selected projects will be presented during the 2027 edition with production and installation costs covered by the festival, and a range of additional benefits including international travel support, meals, and a promotional campaign.

Solo exhibition at the festival centre, production/installation cost coverage, travel and accommodation support up to €400, meals and local transport allowance €134, a dedicated festival webpage, promotional campaign, networking opportunities; for selected projects a digital presentation at the festival and a €200 financial award; free admission to opening events.

Applicants must have a project clearly connected to the Free Hands theme, submit a CV and short artist biography, provide a project description up to 3,000 characters, include at least 10 images, and specify works details and equipment. The complete project must not have been exhibited previously in Denmark, though individual works may have been shown there.
