International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT) 2027

The International Young Physicists’ Tournament (IYPT) is an annual team-based physics competition for secondary-school-aged participants. The 40th IYPT 2027 problems list presents 17 experimental and theoretical research-style problems set for teams to investigate and debate during the tournament. Teams work on open-ended physics problems, prepare experimental and theoretical investigations, and present and defend their results in physics fights.
