U.S. Alumni Travel Awards

The U.S. Alumni Travel Awards provide partial support for conference expenses for alumni of the U.S. Amgen Scholars Program. The awards are intended to facilitate participation in national or international research conferences and include a two-installment disbursement with a final report required. Funding is available through the Amgen Foundation and is limited to eligible applicants who meet the program requirements.

Monetary support up to $1,500 for conference expenses; potential networking and professional development opportunities through conference participation.

Alumni of the U.S. Amgen Scholars Program who are selected to participate in an upcoming research conference and are currently enrolled in a graduate program in a STEM field (PhD, MD/PhD or master’s), or have completed an undergraduate degree and are presenting research from the Amgen Scholars Program.
