National Research Consortium for Participation in SOLSTICE II – Social Cohesion in the Context of Climate Policy

This is a targeted call to select one Norwegian research consortium to act as the Norwegian partner in the international SOLSTICE II research initiative on social cohesion in the context of climate policy. The consortium will develop policy-relevant knowledge on societal prerequisites for climate mitigation, adaptation and related societal transformation processes, including social cohesion, public support and legitimacy of climate policy. The initiative emphasises interdisciplinary synthesis and collaboration and aims to consolidate and further develop knowledge to inform national and European policymaking.

Selection as the Norwegian partner in SOLSTICE II and funding to carry out the defined research and synthesis mission in collaboration with international partners.

The call is aimed at strong Norwegian research environments (consortia) with documented scientific excellence, international networks and capacity to carry out interdisciplinary synthesis and collaboration research.
