Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence

The Independent International Scientific Panel on Artificial Intelligence is a global expert panel established by ITU, ODET, and UNESCO to advise on AI-related issues. Specialists are invited to nominate themselves or be nominated, with selections based on expertise in artificial intelligence and related fields, aiming for interdisciplinary balance and geographic and gender representation. The UN Secretary-General will recommend a list of 40 members for appointment by the General Assembly.
