Concurso CaixaResearch de Investigação em Saúde 2026

The CaixaResearch Health Research Competition 2026 funds biomedical and health research projects, either as individual initiatives or as consortia. It supports projects in neuroscience, oncology, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, infectious diseases, and enabling technologies, with funding allocated through a national partnership between Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) and Fundação “la Caixa”. Projects may run up to three years, with financial support available for single-organization projects up to €500,000 or for consortia of 2-5 organizations up to €1,000,000.

Projects can be submitted by research organizations in Portugal, either as individual projects or as consortia.
