Envolve-PhD Ciências da Saúde

Envolve-PhD Ciências da Saúde is a research support scholarship from the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian for doctoral students from PALOP countries conducting theses in the Health Sciences. The grant provides funding for research activities required to develop the doctoral thesis, including fieldwork, scientific mobility, dissemination, consumables, technical resources, short training and specialized services. Awards are made for a maximum of up to 20,000 euros per selected candidate and can last up to 36 months within the regular thesis period. A maximum of six research scholarships will be awarded under this call.

National doctoral students from Angola, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Moçambique and São Tomé and Príncipe who are enrolled in a PhD in Health Sciences, have an approved doctoral thesis project by their institution's Scientific Council, and who completed their undergraduate degree at a higher education institution in the PALOP countries.
