Global Excellence Scholarship (ITS)

The Global Excellence Scholarship at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a fully funded doctoral scholarship for outstanding international students to pursue a PhD in sciences, technology and engineering. The scholarship covers tuition, living allowance, health insurance, visa/residence permit fees, a one-time arrival allowance and return airfare. It requires academic and research credentials including a Master's degree with a minimum GPA and at least one international publication. Applicants must submit supporting documents and evidence of correspondence with a prospective ITS supervisor.

Tuition waiver, Indonesian language course fees, monthly living stipend, health insurance, visa/residence permit fee coverage, return airfare, one-time arrival allowance.

Open to international applicants for PhD study; applicants must be no older than 35 years by 2026-07-31, hold a Master's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.25/4.00, have at least one international publication, and provide an English proficiency test score meeting the stated minimums. A recommendation letter and documented correspondence with a prospective ITS supervisor are required.

Apply online via the university application portal (SIMAD ITS), upload required documents in specified .jpg format, and provide recommendation letters and evidence of contact with a prospective ITS supervisor.
