Resilience Innovation through Scaling Entrepreneurship (RISE) Urban Challenge 2025

The RISE Urban Challenge invites urban entrepreneurs, organisations, and consortia to submit innovative solutions addressing urban resilience in informality contexts. Selected projects receive tailored leadership mentoring, communications support, and connections to investors, with a leadership academy and potential funding to scale over 12 months. Winners can be awarded prizes up to USD 50,000 to support scaling and implementation up to December 2026.

Open to urban entrepreneurs, innovators, organisations or consortiums of organisations across the private sector and civil society, based in low- and middle-income countries, with emphasis on youth-led and women-led initiatives.

Apply by April 11, 2025 via the provided Submittable form; shortlisted projects proceed to the Leadership Academy and mentoring.
