Novo Nordisk Foundation Prize for Health Science Teachers at the University

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Prize for Health Science Teachers at the University is an annual recognition for university educators working in health science education in the Danish Realm. The prize recognises teams of two or three educators who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to teaching and qualifying health science university students. The total prize sum is DKK 1,500,000, split between personal awards to the teachers and an educational grant to their university.

Personal award of DKK 25,000 to each teacher in the winning team; the remainder of DKK 1,500,000 is awarded to the university as an educational grant.

Teams of two or three educators who are permanently employed at lecturer level or higher, or hold an assistant professor position on a tenure track; must teach health science subjects within health science programs at a university in the Danish Realm (Denmark and Greenland).
