UBA National Essay Competition 2024

The UBA National Essay Competition 2024 is a nationwide contest organized by UBA Foundation for senior secondary students in Nigeria. It invites participants to write an essay on a specified topic and offers educational grants as prizes to the winners. The competition is part of UBA Foundation’s effort to promote reading culture and intellectual competition among Nigerian and African students.

Educational grants to African universities for winners and runners-up (Winner: N7,500,000; 1st Runner-up: N5,000,000; 2nd Runner-up: N3,500,000).

Applicant must be a Nigerian senior secondary school student; must upload a handwritten essay (750 words max), a recent passport photo, and scanned copies of birth certificate, national ID, or international passport.
