Advanced Sound Design

Advanced Sound Design is an intensive four-week short course run by Catalyst – Institute for Creative Arts and Technology in Berlin. The course is project-based and aimed at participants who already use a DAW and have a grasp of electronic music production fundamentals. Participants work with industry practitioners, gain hands-on experience with professional facilities and complete practical sound-design projects.

Tuition and course materials; access to 29 studios and production spaces; use of over 1500 bookable items (microphones, wireless systems, mixing consoles, preamps, field recorders, Technics, CDJs etc); access to an electronic music performance space; on-site wellbeing team.

Open to ages 18+. Participants should be comfortable using a DAW and have a grasp of the fundamentals of electronic music production.
