Beca de Excelencia BUAP

The Beca de Excelencia BUAP is an institutional scholarship program under the BUAP Scholarships Directorate that provides a single financial grant per period deposited to the recipient's bank account. It targets BUAP students in upper secondary education (third year of high school) and undergraduates who have completed between 70% and 95% of their credits, across on-campus, mixed, semi-on-site, or distance modalities. In the previous call (Spring 2026) the grant was a one-time payment of 5,500 MXN for the period January–May 2026.

One-time cash grant per period (previously 5,500 MXN) deposited to the recipient's bank account.

Students enrolled or reenrolled at BUAP for the relevant call period (Spring 2026 cycle 2025-2026 or 2026 for high school and Spring 2026 for undergraduate), with a general average of 9.5 or higher, and all subjects passed with at most one failed resource.

Register in the BUAP Scholarships system at becas.buap.mx, log in with institutional email, fill out the application, enter bank details, upload PDFs of required documents, and monitor status; results are announced by a technical committee.
