Stipendier til Master i scienceundervisning 2027

A stipend programme funding up to 20 scholarships for participants of the Master in Science Teaching (Master i scienceundervisning) offered by the University of Copenhagen. The master is a 60 ECTS part-time programme spread over three years aimed at further educating teachers in the natural science and technology subjects and connecting practice with research in science didactics. Scholarships are awarded to cover course fees and to partially cover release time for gymnasium teachers; awards are administered by the teachers' institutions. Novo Nordisk Fonden will allocate up to DKK 8 million in total for the 2027 round.

Scholarship up to DKK 400,000 per recipient to cover course fees and teacher release/time for studies; funds are paid to and administered by the employing institution.

Applications may be submitted by a principal (rektor) of a gymnasial institution (stx, htx, hf, vuc or eux) for one or more permanent-employed gymnasium teachers in the natural science and/or technological subjects. Teachers must hold a master's degree with a subject minor or a bachelor's/master level in one or more natural science subjects, have completed the pedagogical training (pædagogikum), and have at least two years' teaching experience at an upper secondary institution. Applications must include the principal's confirmation that the institution will administer the stipend and approve the teacher's temporary part-time study leave.

Applications are submitted via Novo Nordisk Fondens application system NORMA with required contact info, principal's recommendation/confirmation, and PDF attachments including motivation (max 1 page), teacher CV (max 1 page), pedagogical training certificate, and degree certificate.
