Premi Societat Catalana de Química (SCQ) per la divulgació de la química

The SCQ Prize for the dissemination of chemistry recognises individual or group activities that contribute to improving chemical culture and public understanding of chemistry. The prize awards a monetary sum of €1,000 and a diploma to the winning candidature. Laureates are invited to give a lecture at an event organised by the SCQ, prepare an approx. five-minute video about their work, and serve on the jury for subsequent editions.

Candidates must be a member of the Societat Catalana de Química (SCQ) or carry out professional activity in the Catalan-language and culture territories. Candidatures (individual or group) must be presented by an SCQ member; self-nominations by members are allowed.

Candidatures must be submitted electronically via the IEC form with a cover letter, up to two-page statement of merits, up to two-page abbreviated CV and supporting materials (graphics, audiovisual). The electronic submission receipt must be signed and sent to premis@iec.cat. Submissions must be in Catalan.
