Biology Undergraduate Summer School 2027 in Switzerland

The Biology Undergraduate Summer School 2027 is a fully funded eight-week European summer program hosted by the School of Biology of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne (UNIL). It provides undergraduate students with research opportunities in biology and related disciplines, hands-on laboratory work, and scientific presentation activities, culminating in a joint UNIL/EPFL symposium and a final report.

Eight weeks of research in biology/medicine, laboratory work, career guidance workshops, research presentations, a final report, and social activities; accommodation and possible travel support are included.

Undergraduate students who have already completed two years of their bachelor’s degree are eligible for the SUR program.
