The DSIT Fellowship is a UK government initiative designed for mid- to senior-level professionals in science, innovation, and technology. It offers a 12-month part-time secondment to join UK government policy teams and contribute expertise to national priorities, with placement across policy areas such as AI, data and digital transformation, and economics and innovation policy.

Direct experience working in UK government, insight into policymaking, opportunity to influence national science and technology strategy, access to government networks and senior policymakers, professional development and leadership exposure.

Mid- to senior-level professionals in science, innovation, or related fields who are currently employed and affiliated with approved partner organizations.
