SOKENDAI-KEK Summer Student Program 2026

The SOKENDAI-KEK Summer Student Program 2026 is a fully funded summer research internship hosted by KEK in partnership with SOKENDAI. It offers undergraduate and early master’s students the chance to join research groups at KEK or J-PARC in Japan, working on experimental, theoretical, or technical projects under supervision of world-class researchers. The program runs for up to 8 weeks in mid-June to mid-August 2026 at KEK Tsukuba and J-PARC Tokai, with supervision and potential collaboration opportunities.

Airfare coverage, accommodation, daily stipend, and domestic travel costs; supervised research experience and potential collaboration with SOKENDAI students and postdocs.

Open to undergraduate students and early master's students from around the world; PhD students are not eligible.
