The African Union ECOSOCC 5th Permanent General Assembly for African-based and diaspora CSOs

The African Union ECOSOCC 5th Permanent General Assembly is accessible through ECOSOC CConnect. It enables eligible civil society organisations to register, seek accreditation, submit the 5GPA programme of work, and participate in continental policy dialogue and AU consultations. Accredited organisations may take part in ECOSOCC General Assembly sessions and AU policy processes, with listing in the AU continental CSO database and access to networks.

Accreditation and continental recognition; ability to participate in ECOSOCC General Assembly sessions and AU policy dialogue; listing in the AU continental CSO database; access to networks and sectoral committees.

Eligible civil society organisations and diaspora organisations operating in one or more of the 55 AU member states or in the African diaspora, meeting ECOSOCC requirements (e.g., registered for at least 3 years, at least 50% African ownership and management).
