City of Johannesburg Paralegal Internship 2026

The City of Johannesburg Paralegal Internship 2026 provides practical legal and administrative workplace training within the Group Legal and Contracts Department. It is aimed at unemployed youth in Johannesburg who want experiential learning in the legal field. Interns will gain hands-on experience in legal research, administration, document management, and municipal legal processes during a program that lasts up to 18 months.

Monthly stipend; practical exposure to government legal operations and litigation support; training in legal administration and documentation.

Applicants must have Grade 12 and a National Diploma in Law, Legal Assistance, Paralegal or related qualification; must be a resident of Johannesburg; no prior work experience required.
