Ernst & Young (EY) Better Working World Data Challenge 2026 for University Students & Early-career Data Scientists

A data-competition organized by EY offering multiple challenge levels focusing on applying data science to biodiversity and global issues. It welcomes university students and early-career data scientists to develop models and solutions, with curated learning materials from EY, Data Camp and Microsoft to assist participants. Prizes include cash awards, access to Microsoft technologies and certifications, mentoring from EY, and opportunities for collaboration.

Free access to Azure and Microsoft certifications; access to tutorials and training; opportunity to collaborate with others around the world; potential cash prizes up to US$10,000; mentoring from EY for top finalists.

Eligibility: Any university student with an interest in data science can enter and participate. If you have less than two years of professional experience then you can also join the Challenge, but you will need to pay to use Azure.
