European Summer School on Artificial Intelligence (ESSAI)

ESSAI is a one-week summer school for PhD students and researchers covering introductory and advanced topics in artificial intelligence. The 2026 edition is a five-day program in Vienna with courses, tutorials, and several parallel tracks delivered by over 30 lecturers. The school includes specialised tutorials, comprehensive AI courses, networking opportunities and a social program. ESSAI 2026 also encompasses the 2nd International Summer School on Bilateral AI and is co-located with the 5th ACM Europe Digital Humanism Summer School.
