2026 Class of Influential Researchers

A call for nominations to recognise outstanding early-career researchers shaping the future of chemical engineering. Winners are invited to submit an article to Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research for a Special Issue and will receive an award certificate and publicity by ACS Publications. The programme targets researchers within the first ten years of their independent career and accepts nominations from industry, government, and university labs worldwide.

Early-career researchers within the first ten (10) years of their independent career; nomination must be based on research from their independent career and not on graduate or postdoctoral work. Nominees must not have been recognised in previous Classes of Influential Researchers; self-nominations are allowed and researchers from industrial, government, and university labs are encouraged.

Submit a completed nomination form (online) including nominee details, a ~200-word statement of research contributions, up to 5 listed contributions, and a professional website or profile URL.
