IANAS Young Scientist Research Award

The IANAS Young Scientist Research Award recognises outstanding early-career women researchers across the Americas. It accepts nominations for researchers working in life sciences, natural sciences, social sciences and technological sciences who are conducting research in their home country. The selected researcher receives a monetary award, a certificate of recognition and a profile on the IANAS Women for Science website. Each IANAS member academy may submit one nomination to the IANAS Secretariat.

USD 1,500 to support research-related activities; a certificate of recognition; a profile on the IANAS Women for Science website.

Open to women scientists from eligible IANAS member countries who earned their PhD within the past five years and are conducting research in their home country.

Each IANAS member academy may nominate one candidate; nominations are submitted to the IANAS Secretariat.
