International Interdisciplinary Olympiad in Laboratory Research and Case-based Science (ISM Olympiad)

The ISM Olympiad is an international team science olympiad combining Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science in integrated research and case-based tasks. It features a remote online selection round and an on-site final round hosted at the Bilim Innovation Lyceum in Almaty. Teams produce a full research report, participate in practical laboratory experimentation, presentations and jury Q&A, and are evaluated on experimental precision, reporting, debate and presentation skills. Top teams receive official diplomas, medals and trophies and all finalists receive official ISM finalist certificates.

For high school students competing in teams with a mandatory Team Supervisor (teacher/mentor).

Team Captain submits a team registration form; teams consist of 4 core members plus an optional 5th member and a Team Supervisor.
