KI Travel Grant 2026 (period 1)

A travel grant scheme administered by Karolinska Institutet to support physical travel or participation in digital events related to conferences, courses, exchanges or research visits. Eligible activities include presenting at conferences, learning or developing methods, visiting laboratories, and collaborative project work. Funding is intended for registered doctoral students, employees or affiliated researchers at Karolinska Institutet, with priority given to doctoral students and postdocs. Grants cover predefined maximum allowances for travel or digital participation.

Monetary grant up to the stated maximum amounts depending on destination or digital participation.

Registered doctoral students, employees or affiliated researchers at Karolinska Institutet; doctoral students and postdocs are prioritised.

Submit an online application via the KI Prisma portal during the application period (January 6–20, 2026). Attach required documents such as abstracts, confirmations, invitations, course program or supervisor letter as applicable.
