ACS Student Communities Professional Meeting Grant

A grant to encourage active ACS student chapters, ACS International Student Chapters, and ACS Graduate Student Organizations to attend and participate in professional conferences by defraying costs. The grant provides set awards for virtual, in-country, and out-of-country conferences to support registration, lodging, and/or transportation. Applications must be submitted in advance and awarded funds are sent to the university or chapter bank account for appropriate disbursement. Recipients must submit a final report after attending the conference.

Monetary grant covering registration fees, lodging, and/or transportation costs (up to specified limits depending on conference type).

Active ACS Student Chapters, ACS International Student Chapters, and ACS Graduate Student Organizations with ACTIVE status, at least six student members with a premium package, and at least one annual report submitted within the last three years. All students listed as travelers/presenters must be ACS student members with a premium package; it is highly encouraged that at least one member present a paper or poster.

Create a student community account in the application system, select Apply, choose 2026 ACS Student Communities Professional Meeting Grant, enter and upload required materials, and submit the application (confirmation email sent within one business day).
