France | Putney Student Travel

A high school French language immersion travel program that combines daily conversational language lessons with cultural immersion across six regions of France, including homestays, city visits, and outdoor activities. The program includes guided excursions and an independent project component. Students live with host families for a homestay portion and participate in interactive, hands-on language learning. Travel logistics include group departures and return flights arranged by the organizer.

Homestay with vetted host families, daily conversational language lessons, guided excursions across Brittany, Paris, Montpellier, Provence, the Riviera and the Alps, outdoor activities (sailing, hiking, canyoning), and support from on-site leaders; opportunity to complete an independent project.

High school students who have completed two years of language study; each student signs a language pledge to speak only French during the program.
