SPSSI Conference Travel Funding Programs

A set of travel funding programs for attendees of the SPSSI summer conference. Awards reimburse conference-related expenses (post-expense reimbursement) and are targeted at different applicant groups including international attendees, undergraduates, graduate students, early career scholars, and underrepresented students. Applicants submit a single application form to be considered for all programs for which they are eligible.

Reimbursement of conference registration, economy transportation, lodging, and approved meal expenses.

Conference attendees may apply; specific programs target attendees residing outside North America, underrepresented graduate students, undergraduate students, graduate students accepted or pending acceptance to the SPSSI program, early career scholars accepted or pending acceptance, and one award for a student presenting research from a feminist and social justice perspective.

Submit the single 2026 SPSSI Conference Travel Funding Form (Google Form) to apply for all programs for which you are eligible; awards are paid as post-expense reimbursements upon submission of receipts and an expense form.
