Grant Proposals for Empowerment of Women - WVLB (Bangladesh)

A grant programme implemented by Manusher Jonno Foundation under the Women’s Voice and Leadership - Bangladesh project funded by Global Affairs Canada. It provides multi-year project grants to women’s rights organisations, coalitions and networks in Bangladesh, with micro, small and medium-sized grants and capacity-building aims.

Multi-year project grants (micro/small/medium amounts in BDT) and associated programme support to strengthen organisational management, advocacy and service delivery.

Applications are sought from women’s rights organisations (WROs), women coalitions, networks and consortia operating in Bangladesh; the executive director/head must be a woman, all governing board members should be women, at least 50% of staff must be women, applicants must be registered NGOs and demonstrate experience and basic financial and technical capacity (micro/small grants: at least 3 years’ experience; medium: 5 years). Networks or consortia may apply provided a lead WRO meeting eligibility signs the agreement.
