Asian Hackathon for Green Future 2026

The Asian Hackathon for Green Future 2026 is a competition to develop technology-driven solutions for environmental challenges. It is open to undergraduate and master’s students from universities across Asia and progresses through registration & preliminary, an online training round, and a final on-site hackathon. The final round includes a 24-hour hackathon at VinUniversity (Hanoi) and an award ceremony with monetary prizes.

Total prize pool of USD 24,000 (1st: USD 8,000; 2nd: USD 5,000; two 3rd: USD 3,000 each; five consolation: USD 1,000 each); covered travel and accommodation for Top 30 teams; online training, expert consultations, networking opportunities.

Current undergraduate and master’s students at universities across Asia may participate, registering in teams of up to four members.

Teams of up to four register online and submit an idea proposal and an introductory video via the provided application form; Top 30 teams selected by the Technical Board advance to the Online Training Round.
