Physical Modes of Action of Membrane‐Active Compounds

A WE-Heraeus-Seminar focused on the physical effects of amphiphilic and lipophilic peptides, drugs and other membrane-interacting solutes on key properties of lipid membranes. The seminar addresses topics such as membrane integrity, permeability, heterogeneity, order-dynamics-hydration, and curvature across thematic sessions. It aims to connect phenomena and foster communication and collaboration between research communities. The conference language is English and the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus-Foundation covers full-board accommodation for all participants.
