FMxA Science by Women Programme 2025 for African Women Researchers

The Science by Women Programme is a 6-month post-doctoral fellowship for African women researchers. It is run by the Women for Africa Foundation (FMxA) in collaboration with Spanish Centers of Excellence, aiming to promote African women leadership in scientific research and technology transfer across multiple fields. The program offers a monthly living allowance, travel reimbursement, visa cost refunds, and additional opportunities to participate in seminars and events during the fellowship.

Beneficiaries of previous editions are not eligible. Applicants must be a woman with nationality and residence in an African country, hold a PhD in a science field at the time of application, and have a contractual relationship with a university or research organization in Africa. Each applicant may express up to two host-institution preferences.
