StoryMi Academy 2025 Documentary Film Fellowship

The 2025 Documentary Film Fellowship is a 4-month intensive training, production, and mentorship program for Nigerian documentary filmmakers. Fellows receive guidance, funding, and a structured development process to create an original short documentary, with a production grant and opportunities for global exposure. The program is led in partnership with industry mentors and is fully funded by the French Embassy in Nigeria.

Production Grant of ₦2,000,000, mentorship from industry professionals, hands-on workshops and labs, and potential to present the film at an international documentary film festival.

Professional filmmakers based in Nigeria who are committed to non-fiction storytelling and are available full-time from August to November 2025.
